Condition and Authenticity Appraisals are a reasonably priced way to find out about a bow you aren't sure of. They're very useful when considering buying a bow from an individual or dealer should you feel you want a second opinion before committing to the purchase. With a Condition and Authenticity appraisal I carefully inspect the bow, tell you about its condition, including any problems that may need attention, as well as giving you my opinion of the bow's authenticity and that of all its parts. Whether you're spending thousands, tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars on a bow it behooves you to have an independent party look the bow over, someone with no personal interest in the sale and many years of experience.

Bows should be appraised and insured for your protection and your insurance appraisals should be updated at regular intervals of not more than 3 to 5 years. This is usually a service provided by the dealer or maker you bought the bow from but if you bought a bow without an appraisal I will be happy to appraise it for you and provide you with the correct documentation for your insurance carrier. Along with the Insurance Appraisal I perform the same inspection and evaluation of a Condition and Authenticity appraisal and then put it in writing, so you have all the data you need to stay informed about your bow. Once you have received my Insurance Appraisal service I keep records of your bow so you can quickly and easily update the appraisal. I'll even have a reminder sent to you if you want. Updates are priced the same as a Condition and Authenticity appraisal. Should you have more than one bow needing an Insurance Appraisal, additional bows may be added to the appraisal at the price of a Condition and Authenticity appraisal.

Estate Appraisals are designed to give you an idea of the resale value of a bow you don't know anything about or aren't sure of. Along with the Estate Appraisal I perform the same inspection and evaluation of a Condition and Authenticity appraisal and put it in writing.

    With my Heritage Certificates, detailed dimensions and specifications of your bow are taken along with photos of all the important details. Your Heritage Certificate includes a set of photos, a complete description of your bow along with a signed statement from me as to my opinion of who the maker was and an Insurance Appraisal of its current value.
